The Food and Nutrition Module consists of four activities that help students understand what food is, what it is made of, and how several nutrient groups contribute to good, healthful nutrition.  Students test foods for acid content, vitamin C content, fat content, and sugar content.  Following these activities they use their knowledge and nutritional information from product ingredients to plan and evaluate lunch menus.
